Kaizen Judo Club is committed to serving the community by teaching the Olympic Sport of Judo in a way that is positive and healthy for individuals of all ages. Owner, 6th Dan, Sensei Bob Zettl is a highly regarded and qualified, NCCP Level Three Coach. Sensei Zettl is a former Junior National Coach, and Ontario Provincial Coach. What we do...


The Kaizen Judo Club offers comprehensive Training Programs for adults and children with numerous other NCCP Instructors who have been trained and taught by Sensei Zettl. All are dedicated individuals. Their wish is to help students of Judo learn the sport in a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial way.

What's new...

  • Milo Jokic, a 5th degree black belt from Kaizen Judo Club won the IJF (InternationalJudo Federation) World Masters in Singelfingen Germany on Saturday, May 27th, 2009. The 57 year old judoka defeated two time World Champion Ginoveze Henry from France in the finals in seven seconds in the 55 to 60 age group -66kg division. This world event attracted approximately 900 competitors from around the world.
  • Nedjo Sarenac wins BRONZE in the -100kg at the Senior National Judo Championships on Saturday May 23, 2009
  • Kaizen Judo Club set a record in qualifying fourteen of their athletes for this year's Canadian Youth Nationals to be held in Calgary, Alberta, July 5th & 6th, 2009.

    The following fourteen judokas from Kaizen will represent the Province of Ontario are:

  • Sensei Bob Zettl has once again been selected as Head Coach by Judo Ontario for the 2009 U15, U17 & U20 Canadian National Judo Chanpionships in Calgary, Alberta on July 3rd to 5th, 2009. This is not the first time he has been selected but this nomination is another reason why you should become a member with Kaizen Judo Club because we offer the best coaching and Judo instruction in Kitchener-Waterloo.
     
  • Kaizen Judo Club is proud to announce the recent promotion for Sensei Barry Williams to GODAN (5th degree black belt) recognized and promoted by Judo Canada National Grading Board. Congratulations Sensei Barry!!!
     
  • Congratulations to Sensei Wayne Erdman for being appointed as the Chair of the Judo Ontario Provincial Grading Board by the Judo Ontario Council.
